Elliott International offers a complete and comprehensive destination service on all Household and Personal Effects and Pets being imported into South Africa. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Door-to-door quotations for Air and Sea Shipments from any country in the world to South Africa, co-ordinating, controlling and monitoring these shipments on your behalf
- Should you have contracted on a door-to-door basis with a moving company at origin, we will liaise with you to complete all customs clearance documentation in order for Air and Surface Shipments to be cleared well in advance of arrival at the destination. (Customs clearance can only commence once the client arrives in the country as the original passport with the entry stamp is required to clear customs).
- Assistance in documentation completion and submission with your passport to South African Customs (the return of the passport is normally within two working days)
- Transportation from Port / Air Port to residence, unloading, unpacking, placement, assembly, and removal of packing debris, and payment (funds must be paid in advance) to authorities where required
- Assistance with settlement of insurance claims where applicable, and minor repairs with our qualified personnel if necessary
- Delivery site surveys to determine accessibility
- Storage in containers or in our fully-palletised warehouses plus re-delivery to residence
- Comprehensive feedback to the contracted moving company to provide them with both your and our assessment of services rendered
